Field Sales Executive - FMCG - Frozen Food Products

Job Description
We are seeking a dynamic and result-oriented Field Sales Executive to drive sales of our frozen food products in the FMCG sector. The role involves developing strong distributor & retailer networks, ensuring product visibility, achieving sales targets, and driving market penetration.

Key Responsibilities

1. Sales & Business Development

  • Drive the sales of frozen food products within the assigned territory.
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities with potential distributors, wholesalers, and retailers.
  • Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets set by the company.
  • Introduce new products and schemes to the market to maximize revenue and customer engagement .

2. Distributor & Retailer Network Management

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with distributors, retailers, and key partners .
  • Onboard new distributors and ensure smooth order placement and stock movement .
  • Ensure distributors are adequately stocked and trained about the product range.
  • Resolve distributor or retailer issues promptly to maintain healthy business relationships .

3. Market Penetration & Product Visibility

  • Ensure maximum product availability and visibility at retail outlets.
  • Negotiate for better shelf space, branding, and in-store promotions .
  • Conduct regular market visits to monitor competitor activities and implement strategies to gain market share .
  • Work closely with the marketing team to execute trade promotions, product sampling, and awareness campaigns .

4. Territory & Route Planning

  • Plan and execute daily market visits to cover all retailers and distributors within the assigned area.
  • Ensure proper route mapping for maximum coverage and efficiency .
  • Prepare a weekly and monthly sales plan aligned with organizational goals.

5. Reporting & Documentation

  • Maintain accurate records of sales performance, collections, and inventory levels .
  • Submit daily and weekly reports to the Area Sales Manager.
  • Use CRM tools or reporting systems to track leads, conversions, and payment follow-ups .
  • Ensure timely submission of claims, expenses, and promotional reimbursements.

6. Customer Relationship Management

  • Understand customer needs and provide solutions to enhance customer satisfaction .
  • Address complaints effectively and ensure smooth resolution.
  • Build long-term partnerships to encourage repeat business and referrals.

Required Skills & Competencies

1. Core Sales Skills

  • Excellent sales and negotiation skills to close deals effectively.
  • Strong understanding of FMCG distribution channels and retail dynamics.
  • Ability to analyze sales data and identify growth opportunities.
  • Comfortable working in a target-driven and competitive environment .

2. Communication & Interpersonal Skills

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English and local languages.
