Job Description

A Digital Marketing Intern plays an important role in assisting the marketing team with online campaigns, social media management, SEO activities, content creation, and digital outreach. This position is designed for students or fresh graduates who are enthusiastic about learning the fundamentals of digital marketing and applying them in real business scenarios. Interns in this field gain exposure to modern marketing tools, online platforms, and data-driven strategies that help brands reach and engage with their target audience effectively.

Key Responsibilities

1. Social Media Management
   • Assist in managing social media accounts (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter, YouTube, etc.).
   • Create, schedule, and publish posts to increase engagement and brand visibility.
   • Monitor social media interactions, respond to basic queries, and engage with followers.
   • Track social media analytics and prepare performance reports.
2. Content Creation & Marketing
   • Support the creation of blogs, articles, infographics, and email newsletters.
   • Assist in developing engaging content tailored for different online platforms.
   • Ensure content is optimized for SEO and user engagement.
   • Research trending topics to suggest content ideas.
3. Search Engine Optimization (SEO)
   • Help in keyword research and identifying opportunities for content ranking.
   • Assist in optimizing website pages, blogs, and landing pages for SEO.
   • Monitor website traffic using Google Analytics and other SEO tools.
   • Learn and apply on-page and off-page SEO techniques.
4. Digital Campaign Assistance
   • Support in planning and executing paid campaigns (Google Ads, Facebook Ads, LinkedIn Ads, etc.).
   • Monitor ad performance and share insights with the team.
   • Assist in A/B testing of campaign creatives and landing pages.
5. Email Marketing
   • Draft and schedule email campaigns to reach targeted audiences.
   • Maintain and update subscriber lists.
   • Track email open rates, click-through rates, and conversions.
6. Market Research & Competitor Analysis
   • Research digital marketing trends and emerging tools.
   • Track competitor activities across digital platforms.
   • Share insights to improve ongoing marketing strategies.
7. Team Collaboration
   • Work closely with designers, writers, and marketing managers.
   • Participate in brainstorming sessions for campaign ideas.
   • Present weekly updates to supervisors regarding assigned tasks.

Skills & Competencies Required

1. Technical Skills
   • Basic knowledge of SEO, Google Analytics, and social media marketing.
   • Familiarity with digital marketing tools (Canva, Mailchimp, HubSpot, SEMrush, etc.) is a plus.
   • Comfortable using MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint for reporting.
