Manufacturing Support: Coordinate manufacturing and maintenance of tools to facilitate prototype and mass production operations. Maintenance and Repair: Coordinate preventive and predictive tool and fixture maintenance, controlling spare parts and repair expenses. Quality Assurance: Track tool performance and mold condition, detecting and correcting problems to maintain product quality. Vendor Management: Coordinate with vendors for tooling and fixturing design, fabrication, and maintenance. Production Coordination: Work with production teams and other departments to resolve tooling issues and support smooth operations. Record Keeping: Keep records of tool maintenance, repairs, and history for effective management. Skills and Qualifications Technical Proficiency: Excellent knowledge of CAD/CAM software for tool design and familiarity with conventional and advanced machines (lathe, mill, grinder, EDM, Wire EDM). Design and Analysis: Skill to read technical drawings, conduct feasibility studies, and comprehend intricate assemblies and components. Maintenance Expertise: Hands-on experience in maintaining and repairing numerous tools and fixtures.
