Business Development Manager - SMELocation: BangaloreExperience: 3-7 YearsEmployment Type: Full-timeRole OverviewWe are looking for a high-energy Business Development Manager (SME) to drive revenue growth by sourcing and closing debt / working capital solutions for SMEs, startups, and emerging corporates. This is a consultative, target-driven role requiring strong financial understanding and CXO-level engagement.Key Responsibilities:- Own and achieve monthly revenue targets through debt origination and deal closures- Source and build a strong pipeline via direct outreach, referrals, and partner networks- Engage daily with Founders, Promoters, and CFOs to understand funding needs- Advise clients on suitable debt products (working capital, term loans, secured/unsecured financing, etc.)- Negotiate commercials, close engagements, and drive deal execution end-to-end- Coordinate with internal teams and lenders to ensure timely deal closuresWhat We re Looking For:- 3-7 years of experience in SME / Mid-market debt sales or financial services- Strong understanding of financial statements and capital structures- Hands-on exposure to debt products: secured/unsecured loans, cash-flow lending, invoice discounting, etc.- Experience working with Founders, Promoters, and CFOs- Self-driven, target-oriented, and strong stakeholder management skillsWhy This Role- High-growth opportunity in the SME & startup financing ecosystem- Direct exposure to CXOs and complex deal closures- Performance-linked incentives with strong learning curve (ref:updazz.com)
