Cycle Time Optimization: Examine current production runs to find bottlenecks and cut cycle times by optimizing the sequence or using better cooling techniques. Tooling Support: Work along with the Tool Room to examine mold designs and make recommendations for changes to cooling channels, gates, or runners. Standard Operating Procedures (SOP): To guarantee that production teams can duplicate ideal conditions, create and maintain thorough "Setup Sheets" and process instructions. Required Skills: Technical Mastery: In-depth knowledge of hydraulic and electric injection molding machines, auxiliary equipment, and polymer rheology. Analytical Tools: AutoCAD for layout or tool review, Minitab for statistical analysis, and Moldflow analytic expertise. Solving problems: Being proficient in troubleshooting methods for intricate flaws such as dimensional instability, gas markings, and jetting. Methodical Approach: Strict attention to documentation standards and validation processes (IQ/OQE/PQ).
