Job Description
Key Responsibilities:- Lead the regional sales to achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
-Manage and supervise sales team across the assigned territory.
-Develop and execute the sales plans, business strategies, and promotional activities.
-Build and maintain strong relationships with hospitals, clinics, doctors, procurement managers, and institutional clients.
-Conduct regular market visits to ensure strong field presence and monitor competitor activities.
-Identify new business opportunities and support expansion initiatives.
-Ensure proper implementation of product launches, promotional schemes, and marketing campaigns.
-Evaluate the performance of team members, provide coaching, and support skill development.
-Prepare and present regional sales forecasts, and performance analyses to senior management.
-Ensure compliance with pharmaceutical laws, ethical marketing practices, and company SOPs. Ideal Candidate:- 5-8 years of hard-core, on-field pharmaceutical sales experience.
-Minimum 2-3 years in a supervisory or team-leading role.
-Strong understanding of pharmaceutical retail, distribution, and market dynamics.
-Prior exposure to African or overseas operations will be an advantage.Key Skills & Competencies:- Strong leadership and team-management abilities.
-Excellent communication, negotiation, and customer relationship-building skills.
-High level of maturity, discipline, and professional ethics.
-Analytical mindset with proficiency in sales reporting and forecasting.
-Ability to work independently and handle field challenges effectively. Vipul - Led regional sales operations across Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, and Gujarat, driving growth for key brands.
-Managed and developed multi-level field teams (FOS, FTD, MTD) with focus on productivity and coverage.
-Delivered key KPIs including sales targets, focused brand performance, coverage, and effective coverage.
-Controlled attrition through timely hiring and close coordination with HR for training and onboarding.
-Executed chemist loyalty programs and activated chemists on the D2R digital platform.
-Planned and implemented BTL activities and in-market branding initiatives to enhance visibility.
-Conducted field coaching, performance reviews, and market analysis to strengthen execution. (ref:updazz.com)
