Documentation: Keep daily production logs that document the quantity of parts manufactured, the percentage of scrap, and any machine downtime. Basic Maintenance: To extend the life of your equipment, do regular machine cleaning, lubrication, and coolant level checks. Required Skills: Technical literacy is the capacity to read and comprehend engineering drawings and mechanical layouts (understanding of GD&T is advantageous).
