Machine Calibration: Set AC/DC polarity, choose high-frequency starters, modify pulse settings, and change shielding gas flow rates while configuring TIG power sources. Consumable Selection: Depending on the thickness and base metal, select the proper tungsten electrode and filler rod diameter. Purging Operations: To avoid "sugar" on the weld's root side, set up internal gas purging for pipe or vessel welding.
