QA Engineer Zero-Defect Manufacturing Champion Job Description Duties: QMS Governance & Implementation: Uphold and enhance the organization 's Quality Management System in accordance with international standards. Process Documentation & Standardization: Create, examine, and oversee work instructions, quality manuals, inspection standards, and standard operating procedures. APQP & PPAP Governance: Oversee the Advanced Product Quality Planning APQP procedures and gather submissions for the Production Part Approval Process PPAP for the introduction of new products. Corrective and Preventive Actions: Oversee the plant-wide CAPA system, making sure that audit non-conformances or deviations are extensively examined utilizing the 8D methodology and permanently fixed. Internal and External Auditing: Arrange and carry out routine system and internal process audits. Act as the main technical point of contact for client or external regulatory audits. Supplier Quality Governance: Work with Supplier Quality Engineers to audit vendor facilities, establish quality agreements for suppliers, and specify tracking KPIs. Focus Skills: QMS Architecture: Comprehensive knowledge of regulatory audit compliance requirements and global quality system frameworks. Mastery in Core Quality Tools: Proficiency in APQP, PPAP, FMEA, MSA, and Statistical Process Control SPC principles. Problem-Solving Techniques: Expertise in structured root-cause analysis 8D, Fishbone, 5 Whys, Fault Tree Analysis. Technical Writing: Outstanding capacity to convert intricate engineering processes into procedural documentation that is understandable, organized, and auditable. Formal certification as an internal or lead auditor for standards pertinent to the industry is known as auditing competency. Analytical Thinking: The capacity to use programs like Minitab or Microsoft Excel to identify patterns in large production datasets.
