Your main responsibility is to methodically arrange for the perfect packaging, paperwork, vehicle loading, and prompt delivery of completed goods from our warehouse floor to final consumers or local distribution centers. As the "Final Mile Integrity Guardian," you create vital transport documentation, oversee local carrier vehicles, follow shipments in real time, and cross-check picking lists against client sales orders. In order to ensure that our daily order fulfillment cycles are completed with no dispatch delays, transportation damages, or billing mismatched rows, the ideal applicant is a highly organized, logical expert who combines extensive stock-tracking software mastery with keen material-handling intuition. Responsibilities: Order Picking & Validation: Examine material picking lists and incoming customer sales invoices, methodically confirming that the right batch codes, item amounts, and stock-keeping unit (SKU) numbers are separated from warehouse bays. Shipping Documentation Architecture: Produce commercial invoices, packing lists, delivery challans, bills of lading, and regional transit passes such as E-Way bills that are accurate and compliant. Vehicle Allocation & Routing: To assign the appropriate container trucks depending on shipment volume, weight, and delivery deadlines, work with local fleet drivers, third-party logistics (3PL) firms, and outside transport providers. Loading Layout & Safety Supervision: Keep an eye on forklift operators and on-floor loading teams to make sure that products are piled symmetrically, that weight is distributed safely across truck axles, and that structural lashing is used to avoid in-transit movement. Inventory Database Reconciliation: To quickly subtract dispatched stock balances from inventory counts, execute real-time transactions within the warehouse management system (WMS) or core ERP software. Freight Cost & Invoice Auditing: Before sending invoices to accounts payable, cross-check transport freight bills against vehicle weighbridge receipts and established distance slab rate sheets to look for any financial irregularities. Skills: WMS & ERP System Agility: Using contemporary supply chain software modules with practical operational competence. Logistics Spreadsheet Literacy: Capable at managing daily dispatch schedules, calculating truck filling ratios, and keeping track of freight movement data using Microsoft Excel. Transit Compliance & Code Literacy: Strong working knowledge of statutory shipping declarations, vehicle weight limitations, tax invoice formats, and local commercial transport regulations. Geographical Layout & Routing Sense: Excellent practical intuition for designing multi-point local truck delivery routes in order to reduce overall transport fuel costs and optimize vehicle capacity.
