Production Engineer Increasing Efficiency, Reducing Waste Job Description: Responsibilities: Execution of Daily Production requirements: Manage daily shift operations, efficiently allocating personnel and equipment resources to meet stringent shift output and volume requirements. Shop-Floor Workforce Management: Oversee and direct a group of technicians, assembly workers, and temporary workers while making sure that safety regulations, regular work schedules, and productivity standards are strictly followed. Process Optimization & Cycle-Time Reduction: To find operational bottlenecks and reduce overall cycle times, examine active assembly lines or machining cycles using Time and Motion studies. Minimize machine downtime by working closely with the maintenance staff to plan Preventive Maintenance (PM) programs and quickly troubleshoot unexpected mechanical or automated breakdown lines. Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) Implementation: To avoid build variances, make sure that all shop-floor operations closely adhere to engineering drawings, control plans, and visual SOPs.
