CNC Operator Critical Machine & Process Operations Job Description Experience: 0 to 3 yrs Salary: Based on Company Norms Education: 8th, 10th, 12th or Above Location: In And Around Chennai Your Duties: Production Component Machining: Start pre-programmed machining cycles by safely loading raw castings, forgings, or bar stock into CNC machine fixtures, chuck jaws, or pneumatic vices. Dimensional Quality Verification: Using precise hand-measuring tools, examine completed parts during active cycles to ensure that dimensions are within engineering blueprint tolerances. Tool Wear Monitoring & Communication: Keep a constant eye on cutting cycles, spot any unusual machining chatter, smoke patterns, or changes in surface roughness, and notify the CNC Setter or Programmer right away to replace any dull inserts. Deburring & Secondary Finishing: Make sure parts are smooth and prepared for the next staging bay by performing the required hand deburring, filing, and component cleaning tasks throughout machine run times. Basic Wear Offset Adjustment: To account for tool drift, apply small dimensional wear offset adjustments straight into the machine controller panel while being supervised.
