Through your efforts, lead times are reduced, transit friction is removed, and product quality is safeguarded during line-haul transportation. The ideal applicant is a quick-witted, well-organized logistics specialist who combines a rigorous approach to transport documentation compliance, shipping audits, and third-party logistics (3PL) carrier management with keen routing instincts. Key Skills: ERP & Logistics Software Literacy: The ability to navigate enterprise distribution software, such as SAP, Oracle Logistics, or specialized transport apps, with practical operational comfort. Complete structural acquaintance with local shipping laws, freight classification standards, tax compliance codes, and highway movement documentation is required for regulatory transport compliance competency. Advanced Spreadsheet Optimization: Robust operational ease in creating shipping reports using Google Sheets and Microsoft Excel (including pivot filtering, VLOOKUP, and data sorting). High Spatial & Volumetric Acumen: The capacity to compute volumetric weights, assess package dimension measurements, and choose economical transportation solutions.
