Industrial Line Inspection QA Engineer Job Description Duties: Quality Management System (QMS) Management: Adhere strictly to ISO or IATF standards for maintaining, updating, and overseeing the site's QMS. Audit Leadership & Compliance Oversight: Organise, carry out, and record supplier quality evaluations, internal quality audits, and external regulatory and customer QMS audits. CAPA & Non-Conformance Management: Oversee the site-wide workflows for Corrective and Preventive Action and Non-Conformance Reports; guide interdisciplinary teams in closing findings utilising 8D and 5-Why root-cause techniques. Engineering Change Control & Document Control: Manage the document control procedure, making sure that engineering drawings, job instructions, material specifications, and Engineering Change Notices are appropriately updated and validated. Establish supplier quality standards, assess vendor performance metrics, audit supplier facilities, and submit Supplier Corrective Action Requests as part of Supplier Quality Assurance (SQA). Focus Skills: QMS Frameworks & Regulatory Standards: In-depth knowledge of lead auditor procedures, ISO, IATF, or AS standards, and QMS architecture. Audit Execution & Root-Cause Methodologies: Demonstrated capacity to oversee comprehensive quality system audits and support methodical problem-solving (8D, 5-Why, Fishbone, FMEA). Document Control & Change Management: Proficiency in document control systems, engineering change management procedures, and quality documentation standards. Supplier Quality & Vendor Governance: Practical experience leading supplier improvement initiatives, performing vendor audits, and assessing supplier quality systems.
