Indian Company Displays 50$ Tablet

AllGo Embedded Systems a Bangalore based company has brought out the prototype for a 50$ Android Tablet.

Its raining low-cost tablets; soon after India announced its ambitious project of delivering low-cost tablets for just 35$,AllGo Embedded Systems, a Bangalore-based company, has showcased their prototype of their tablet , ‘Stamp’, which runs on Android 1.6.

Sporting a 7 inch resistive touchscreen display, with a 480 x 800 resolution, the Stamp tablet comes loaded with Wi-Fi, USB and ethernet port. The device is based on the priced at $50 at a volume of about 10,000 units, but if the demand goes up the price is likely to come down.
