Offset Calibration: Set Work Coordinate Offsets (G54-G59) and Tool Length/Diameter Offsets using touch-off probes or manual blocks. First Article Inspection: Run the first part, use precision metrology instruments to complete a comprehensive dimensional layout, and obtain a quality "buy-off" before giving it to the operator. Technical Troubleshooting: By modifying speeds, feeds, or tool paths, you can find and fix problems like surface finish chatter, burr formation, or dimensional drift.
