Your main responsibility is to manage incoming and outgoing customer calls, respond to customer enquiries, handle complex complaints, process service requests, and provide an outstanding telephone experience, while Customer Service Directors, Head of Operations, Contact Center Managers, and Team Leads set broad service quality goals, customer retention policies, average handling time (AHT) benchmarks, and key performance indicator (KPI) frameworks. Key Skills: Voice Operations & Call Center Mastery: In-depth knowledge of active listening methods, voice modulation, de-escalation techniques, customer retention approaches, and contact center KPIs. CRM & Contact Center Software Proficiency: The ability to use IVR platforms, cloud telephony systems (Genesys, Avaya, Ameyo, Five9), and ticketing tools in addition to CRM systems (Salesforce, Zendesk, Freshdesk, Zoho CRM). Verbal Communication & Language Fluency: Outstanding oral communication abilities with a great grasp of the English language, neutral accent, clear articulation, and active listening. Problem-Solving and Multi-Tasking Capability: The capacity to interact with callers while accurately typing, navigating several software displays, and consulting knowledge base documentation.
