Job Description

Key Responsibilities

1. Lead Generation and Prospecting

  • Identify potential clients through cold calling, email campaigns, social media outreach, and networking events.
  • Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline through proactive lead generation strategies.
  • Research companies and industries to understand client needs, decision-making structures, and potential sales opportunities.
  • Use CRM tools to log leads, track communication, and manage follow-ups.

2. Client Relationship Management

  • Reach out to prospective clients to pitch IT solutions, including software, SaaS products, cloud services, cybersecurity, ERP systems, or web/mobile development services.
  • Schedule meetings, demos, or presentations with key decision-makers.
  • Understand client requirements and provide suitable recommendations in consultation with technical teams.
  • Maintain long-term relationships with clients for cross-selling and upselling opportunities.

3. Sales Presentations and Demonstrations

  • Deliver engaging presentations and product demonstrations tailored to client requirements.
  • Explain the features and benefits of IT solutions using non-technical language when necessary.
  • Customize proposals, quotes, and commercial offers based on client-specific challenges.
  • Collaborate with the pre-sales or technical teams for solution design and proof-of-concept when needed.

4. Negotiation and Closure

  • Handle commercial negotiations related to pricing, contracts, payment terms, and SLAs.
  • Coordinate with internal departments to ensure that client expectations are met.
  • Finalize deals and follow the documentation and handover process to the delivery or implementation team.
  • Achieve or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.

5. Post-Sales Coordination

  • Ensure smooth onboarding of clients in collaboration with support or implementation teams.
  • Act as the main point of contact for client queries during the initial stages of project delivery.
  • Collect feedback and identify areas for improvement or additional business.

6. Market Intelligence and Reporting

  • Stay updated with industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitors offerings.
  • Conduct regular analysis of the competitive landscape and suggest improvements in sales strategies.
  • Submit timely reports on sales pipeline status, achievements, client feedback, and forecasts to senior management.
  • Attend conferences, webinars, and tech expos to network and identify market trends.
